These Teagasc run clinics are designed to help farm families through the process of transferring the family farm. In 2023, there are clinics taking place in six venues throughout the country.

‘Essentials of Mediation’

Designed and delivered by Clare O’Keeffe, Succession Ireland and Enda Geoghegan, Teagasc Staff Advocate, Climate Change and Sustainability Advisor.

This module was an introduction to the “Essentials of Mediation” using the soft skills in communication. This was achieved largely through role play focusing on succession and farmer conversations.

The attendees who were experienced Teagasc staff included Advisors, Educational officers and Specialists within their sector.
